Chelsea full-back Reece James will undergo another scan. After re-injuring hamstrings during an attempt to return to training.
Frank Lampard has confirmed the defender will be out of the squad for the Blues’ final game of the season at home to Newcastle on Sunday.
There is hope that Reece James will be able to return to play before the end of the season. But a recurring hamstring injury during training ruled out that opportunity.
